Pandorbato

A lovely idea from our friend Chiara for filling pandoro with the unmistakable taste of our carrubato!

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 150 g carrubato spread
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 small glass of milk
  • carrubato flakes ( pure)
  • unsweetened coffee for soaking
  1. Cut the pandoro into layers.

    2. In a bowl combine the mascarpone, the spread, the sugar and the milk.

    3. If needed, melt the spread first.

    4. Soak each layer with unsweetened coffee, with an (optional) splash of rum, fill with the mascarpone cream and dust the layers with pure carrubato flakes.

    5. Glaze with carrubato spread.

    6. Put the cake in the fridge.

    7. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
